Sanosil: What It Is & Why It's Special

Here at BioClean CT, we are experts in mold inspection, testing, removal, and prevention. Mold is what we do and we know it well. Unfortunately, we also know what can happen if it starts to grow in your home and isn't properly treated. That's why our business is all about finding and removing it, along with providing information on mold prevention and elimination to help keep you and your family safe.

What Is Sanosil?

Sanosil is a peroxide-based bactericide, virucide, and fungicide containing silver. It's used for water treatment, as a disinfectant for hospitals, surfaces, and even food, and to kill bacteria, viruses, and fungi–like mold–on contact. It's even EPA registered and has no harmful side effects.

Why Is It Ideal For Killing Mold?

Sanosil eliminates mold and prevents it from returning. First, the hydrogen peroxide attacks the cell wall, breaking it down and destroying it. Then, the silver is able to attack the inside of the cell. This effective one-two punch makes it special.

Is It Better Than The Competition?

Many other products have serious limitations that Sanosil doesn't have. Bleach, for example, is:

  • Ineffective Beyond the Surface
  • Toxic
  • Does Nothing For Future Mold Prevention

In Sanosil, on the other hand, the hydrogen peroxide breaks down into oxygen and water–making it safe to use around kids, pets, and food–leaving behind only non-toxic silver that will continue to discourage mold growth in the future.
